We all like to daydream of vast wealth and extravagant lifestyles, but for some, it’s less of a dream and more of a reality. How can we not be slightly envious of these jet-setting, life-embracing millionaires who seem to have the Midas Touch?

Surprise, surprise. Elon Musk ranks in first place with his estimated fortune of $230 billion. For those who have been living in a cave, Musk is the founder of SpaceX, CEO of Tesla, and a key figure in numerous other innovative companies. His wealth comes from his transformative work in space exploration, electric vehicles, and sustainable energy.

Jeff Bezos

With a net worth of $140 billion, Bezos founded Amazon, the world's largest online retailer that we’ve all come to rely on. His approach to e-commerce, cloud computing with AWS, and ventures like Blue Origin have firmly cemented his spot amongst the richest.

Most of us now know him as the man who co-founded Microsoft, which revolutionized the software industry. His wealth also comes from smart investment and his philanthropic foundation, which embraces global health and education.

He is known as the Oracle of Omaha and has amassed a wealth of $120 billion through shrewd investments and as the chairman of Berkshire Hathaway, a conglomerate with diverse holdings. However, he is probably best known for his generous contributions to philanthropy and donates 99% of his wealth to important causes.

Larry Page co-founded Google, which is now the most widely used search engine in the world. His continued investment in Alphabet Inc., Google's parent company, and other tech ventures just keeps his net worth rising. We’re not envious of his ever-growing $110 billion.

You’d have to be an alien to have never heard of the Facebook founder who’s faced as much backlash as adoration over the years. In more recent times, Facebook has become Meta Platforms Inc., which dominates all social media. His wealth comes from his ownership stake and the global influence he has amassed.

While we can’t pretend to fully understand the nature of his work unless we’re familiar with the industry, we’ll accept the fact that he’s doing a great job.

He is actively involved in port operations, electric power generation, and transmission and has extended through acquisitions. Adani is currently India’s biggest airport operator and has a net worth of $88 billion.

Unlike many others on the richest list, she inherited much of her wealth from her family’s company, L'Oréal.
