So, you set some goals at the beginning of the year and you might now be starting to struggle to stay committed to those goals. It’s easy for this to happen, it’s not that you don’t want to achieve the goals but staying committed can be a challenge.

It might be that other things come up in life and business, that you have lost your focus. Your goals might be also challenging so you’re doubting whether you can achieve them.

Here are 3 ways which will help you stay committed to your goals until you make them a reality:

1 – Break down the goal into bite-sized chunks so you know what you need to work on each day to achieve your goal. If you want to achieve something by the end of the year, work backwards for what you need to achieve each quarter, each month and then each week to help you get there. This way you will feel less overwhelmed and know what you need to do.

2 – Keep reminders of your goals to stay focused. Find ways to help you always have your goals in sight. This could range from the screensavers on your phone and computer, to putting it on a vision board, to writing it down every day. Find what works for you (it could be all of them) to remind yourself of what you want to achieve and to help you stay motivated to get there.

3 – Tell someone you trust about your goals for some accountability. This could be your most trusted loved one or a business coach. Someone who will support you and keep you accountable helps to do the work, even on those days when you don’t feel like it.

Staying committed to your goals means working towards them even when it’s not so fun or not always convenient.

It can be hard to stay committed but it will 100% be worth it when you reach your goals. You will be so glad you were consistent and did the work. You can do it!
